Get together some friends and spend a fun night making jewelry! Everyone will leave with 1-2 pieces of jewelry that they create themselves and can show off to friends, family, co-workers, etc. The jewelry also makes a great handmade gift! Everyone has different styles and interests, so there are a variety of designs for you to choose from.
You choose the design and the beads and I do the rest. I will bring myself and all the supplies to you on the date of your choice.
Beading Party Workshops are great for anyone interested in becoming a jewlery designer, enhancing existing jewelry design skills or simply having a fun night with friends!
Each Beading Party requires 1 Host. The host is typically the person who coordinates the workshop and opens up their home to their friends.
Each party should have between 4-6 attendees although up to 8 attendees is possible. There is a minimum of 4 attendees to hold a workshop.
The beading takes approximately 2 hours, although it can move faster or take longer depending on the number of guests and prior beading experience. Hosts typically schedule the party to be 3-4 hours so there is time to socialize before and after making jewelry.
There is a $35 flat fee per person to attend the workshop, plus the cost of materials. This fee covers my time and travel, up to 30 miles each way. The $35 fee is due as a deposit at the time of booking. This deposit is fully refundable as long as the party is canceled or rescheduled within 1 week of the event. The remaining balance for materials is due upon my arrival.
Please see the FAQ section for additional information related to cancellations and pricing.
Try to choose a party theme that your friends will enjoy and don't be afraid to get creative! This is supposed to be a really fun event! Some favorite themes are wine and cheese/crackers, martinis and appetizers, margaritas and mexican appetizers.
Not everyone likes alcohol themed parties, so some fun alternatives can be spa themes (think pedicures and anklets or manicures and bracelets), pool parties (think beach theme and belly chains or barefoot sandals) or outdoor picnics. Get creative and choose a theme which will make your guests look forward to the event!
It is best to schedule the workshop 4 weeks in advance of the event. It is close enough that attendees will remain excited to attend but not so close that they won't be able to clear their schedules, find sitters, etc. This also allows me enough time to order supplies to ensure everyone can work with the stones or colors they desire.
